What inspired the brand name?
Growing up listening to a lot of Dipset, if you know u know.
At what moment did you realize you wanted to start a brand?
Hmm, I always been a fly dude since I was a youngin. I always was into clothing but I didn’t take that first initial step until I moved back to NYC. I started skating a lot more and meeting new people. I mixed my hustler mentality with the city that never sleeps and came up with Hunnydip HD.
What helps you get over creative blocks?
Bunch of shit, skating the streets with the homies getting into crazy shit, or doing some arts n crafts with my girl. Whatever it take to free my mind from this crazy shit.
What is the biggest mistake you have made?
Just rushing stuff, i’ve learned throughout the months to just take time to perfect stuff ain’t no rush, especially in this generation.
What is the biggest success you have had?
Growing relationships with different people and skaters, seeing my stuff come to life and people actually rocking it.
A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION PEOPLE MAY FIND WEIRD?
Baker 3
Favorite color to use?
Been messing with a lot of gradients, I love when colors look good wit each other. But lots of dark colors.
ARE THERE ANY RETAIL SHOPS YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BRAND IN?
A few that’s in the works right now. Dover street market, open ceremony, labor skateshop, and good company
ANOTHER BRAND THAT INSPIRES YOU AND WHY?
Noah and Dime are really killing the game right now, they just doing different shit but still keeping it skateboarding.
Where do you see yourself and the brand in 1 year and 5 years?
Shittttt, hopefully in a few stores doing good, maybe have a ad or 2 on Thrasher skate mag would be a dream lmao. Just filming and being active in these streets.
