What inspired the brand name?
The name actually came from a friend of mine who was ranting about how his friend stole his hoodie and never got it back. And then he was like “at least be a decent human being and give it back…” something along that line. When he said that, the name just stayed in my head and I went with it.
At what moment did you realize you wanted to start a brand?
I actually had the idea of starting a clothing brand a long time ago but didn’t have a solid idea until last year. My friends have encouraged me to go for it and I took the initiative to start last summer at a student-run pop-up as a tryout.
What helps you get over creative blocks?
Reading books or watch documentaries about design, photography, fashion.
What is the biggest mistake you have made?
Last summer, we got invited to do a pop-up at a festival. It sounded like a good idea until we had terrible experience with that event.
What is the biggest success you have had?
So far, getting our merch displayed at a local boutique is one step closer to success.

A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION PEOPLE MAY FIND WEIRD?
I wouldn't consider this weird, but minimalism. Most people have a misconception that minimalism is just "lazy designs" and easy to do. However, there is a thought process behind it. We strive to apply the "less is more" philosophy in our clothes, packaging and our whole visual identity.
Favorite color to use?
Teal
ARE THERE ANY RETAIL SHOPS YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BRAND IN?
There are no retail shops in particular, but we would love to see our brand outside of Canada, like Japan, NYC, LA.
ANOTHER BRAND THAT INSPIRES YOU AND WHY?
The Hundreds. Not design-wise, but their history and philosophy are what really caught my attention. The brand started off as a small idea and later became something big. What I like the most is the overall message of the brand, which is about bringing communities together and emphasizing the people, rather than clothes.
Where do you see yourself and the brand in 1 year and 5 years?
Getting our merch in other boutiques and having our own office
In 5 words or less describe your brand?
Minimal, colorful, cozy
