What inspired the brand name?
Fearful came about while thinking of names when i knew i wanted something "negative" to be the name of it just to be different, and then "FEARFUL" came to my head because it actually has various meanings, the main one being "negative" but like everything, it has a positive side and i wanted to show it somehow, so, i decided to create the "SIGNATURE" Hoodie which is our most wanted piece that describes exactly the meaning behind the brand.
At what moment did you realize you wanted to start a brand?
I always wanted to start my own brand, ive always been into fashion and i knew i would do it one day.
So, whilst i was in school back in 2013/14 i was ready to launch my first brand called "Dynamic", luckily, i was very young and i realised that i didn't have the knowledge to do it, so i stepped back and started to learn and study fashion by myself, started to get into the "streetwear community" on Instagram and started to take pictures myself.
Back in 2016, i decided i was actually ready to do it, Fearful was born with a friend of mine called Nik that i actually met on Instagram but he eventually stepped out because we were very far away from each other and could not work on it like we wanted, so he still helped a lot on what he could, and still does ( hes actually back working on it at the moment ).
So, i decided to go for it, another friend of mine that i consider a bother called Hugo who is a photographer joined me and we both invested the only money he had left to release our first T-shirt, and we did!
What helps you get over creative blocks?
Well, music is amazing and helps me a ton. Going back to the moodboard and just clear my mind while i look at it, things flow a lot easier.
What is the biggest mistake you have made?
I don't think mistakes are to be viewed as bad things, i don't look back and think of a big mistake.
What is the biggest success you have had?
I consider a success every single time i get a new order, just blows my mind how someone i don't know gives me their hard work money for the thing i love to do the most, you know how crazy that is?
Its just amazing and i think i will never get pass through that.
A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION PEOPLE MAY FIND WEIRD?
I base all my designs/collections on things i've experienced and most of all, experiencing at the moment, i don't really have something that may be weird ahaha.
Favorite color to use?
Black and red are my go to.
ARE THERE ANY RETAIL SHOPS YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BRAND IN?
I dream of being in Barneys one day, i'll be there when the time is right.
ANOTHER BRAND THAT INSPIRES YOU AND WHY?
I've always really followed REPRESENT and their journey, its truly amazing how far George and Mike have come since i started to follow them right from the beggining, im really proud of them in a weird way ahaha.

Where do you see yourself and the brand in 1 year and 5 years?
Its so hard to answer that, everything happens so fast, i don't know how im going to be in a couple of months, the only thing i can say is, wether is 1 year of 5 years down the line, im going to be working on FEARFUL and putting out work.

I have a phrase i like a lot and i identify myself with it "FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN".
