What drove you to make it:

Me and my homie Marcus, were sitting and just wondering like bro what should we put out as our first product. While brainstorming Marcus had the idea of making a belt using a whole car seatbelt. We sat and thought about it and ended up using seatbelts for the strap of the belt and we sourced this magnetic buckle and thats how the main design of the belt happened. The graphic used on the belt just happened naturally. A seatbelt is essentially a safety restraint and we just slapped that on there with some industrial looking texts, fonts, and symbols. Now some people might say we ripped off Off-White. I would like to highly dis-agree because first of all the whole design of the belt is different. We're using recycled car seat belts and a magnetic buckle. Secondly, I don't think Virgil owns the rights to the infamous "Hazard Stripes" (no pun intended). For crying out loud even home depot uses hazard stripes on their floors but thats besides the point. The point is we wanted to make something super dope, a little techy, and also affordable.

Was there inspiration behind it:

Not really it kind of just spontaneously happened. For Marcus and I, design is second nature and it's kind of like a hobby. We'll be driving around and suddenly just get ideas. I think the time the belt was being designed I was bumping some Kanye as the idea was forming so that was an inspiration.
