What inspired the brand name?
EVERYBODYNEEDSTHERAPY is a school of thought. It represents a shift in paradigm on the idea of therapy, and the individual it’s best suited for. Through a series of artistically displayed fashion ensembles.
At what moment did you realize you wanted to start a brand?
This is my second brand managing, I've always known since being younger and growing up with little resources for high end brands so I learned how to dress up none name brand outfits.
What helps you get over creative blocks?
Usually watching the discovery channel especially on underwater creatures and the deep blue. I also enjoy watching fashion weeks in countries and cities that are less popular than the major venues.
What is the biggest mistake you have made?
I got a DUI when I was about 26 or 27 that forced me to slow down and reevaluate what was I even doing. I was in a space where I was making a lot of money and just being to fast.
What is the biggest success you have had?
My biggest success was probably graduating high school after dropping out for two years to take care of my siblings while my mom worked multiple jobs.
A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION PEOPLE MAY FIND WEIRD?
I'm very in tuned with the signs I get from God, but I draw them from many areas that have nothing to do with church or religion. I have certain objects during any given time period I carry around with me until I see that manifestation through. Right now it's a dye fast black Lamborghini.
Favorite color to use?
Probably sand or any hues of tan
ARE THERE ANY RETAIL SHOPS YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BRAND IN?
Pacsun ! I worked there in a season of my life where I had three jobs , I made very little money there and most my checks went right back into the store but I loved being around all the brands and imaging my stuff on the feature table in the front of my store.
ANOTHER BRAND THAT INSPIRES YOU AND WHY?
Russell Westbrook's brand HonorTheGift®️ It's very much so still growing but it taught me how to put more into sourcing fabrics and details of designs like hem tags and utilizing spacing and design placement.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AND THE BRAND IN 1 YEAR AND 5 YEARS?
I see myself as a creative director of multiple subsidiary brands and being contracted to design things outside of clothing like furniture and outdoor planted arrangements. I'd love to own an art museum and a mail salon as well.
IN 5 WORDS OR LESS DESCRIBE YOUR BRAND?
A dinner table conversation piece
