STÜSSY & eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN: THE COLLAB THAT DOESN’T NEED AN INTRODUCTION
Stüssy and eYe Junya Watanabe MAN are back together, and the collection dropped August 28th worldwide at select Chapter stores and stussy.com, with in-store availability at select CDG and DSM locations plus the DSM e-shop. When these two link up, the result is always something that sits comfortably between streetwear and high fashion without apologizing for either side — and this collection is no exception.
The outerwear is where the real weight is. The Varsity Jacket ($1,810) is a melton wool body with leather sleeves, a large Stüssy stock logo and dragon graphic embroidered at the back, snap-button closure, and a fully lined interior with co-branded label — a classic American silhouette pushed through Junya’s lens. Step up from there and you hit the Sport Coat ($2,415), a single-breasted blazer in 100% wool with an embroidered heraldic crest on the chest pocket and screenprinted artwork at the back. It’s tailoring that doesn’t want to behave. Then there’s the Tactical Jacket ($2,775), a reversible Spiewak-built piece in weather-resistant nylon loaded with multi-pocket utility construction, co-branded patches, and a bold “eYe” logo print at the lower back hem — the kind of jacket that functions as well as it flexes. The crown jewel of the outerwear is the Leather Jacket ($3,380) — a full-zip 100% leather piece with a printed cotton lining, chain zip pulls, adjustable side waist tabs with metal buckles, and a spread collar. Clean and considered from every angle.
On the tops side, the Surfman Tee and Venus Tee (both in black) carry the Junya x Stüssy graphic language in a more accessible entry point, while the Button Down Shirts come in three colorways — Saxe Blue, Pink, and White — giving the collection some room to breathe between the heavyweight outerwear.
Rounding it all out, the Cargo Pants ($1,065) in olive cotton twill bring the utilitarian thread all the way through to the bottom half. Relaxed fit, elasticated drawcord waist, dual cargo pockets, pleated knees for mobility, and Stüssy embroidery on the back right pocket.
